COMPETITIVE
READY TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL?
Our competitive program is for students ages 5 to 17 who are serious about their dance training. Our competitive team is auditioned and selected by our teaching faculty.
This program requires several hours of technical training per week and participation in competitions, competitive showcases and community events.
As ambassadors for dance in York Region and DOAHL Academy, these students have an opportunity to receive focused attention in their dance training and exposure to the professional dance world.
All competitive dancers are required to take Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet training and participate in examinations.

PART-TIME COMPETITIVE
NOT READY FOR FULL TIME COMMITMENT?
With fewer hours a week to commit to our Part Time Competitive Program is the perfect transition for the recreational dancer and a resolution for the fully competitive dancer who needs scale back for a while.
Age range for this program is 6 to 19.
Note: Students must be invited or participate in a VIRTUAL audition for our Part Time Competitive Program.
